I developed an interest in photography at just eight years old. At that time it was a toss up between being a dentist, cowboy, or photographer. Since there wasn't much use for cowboys in the Bronx, and I was sickened by the sight of blood, photography was my best choice for a career path.
The path I chose was not an easy path but it has been exciting and an ongoing educational experience. After attending, The Germain School of Photography, I honed my skill of lighting by working with the smallest tabletop objects to working on sound stages as a member of The International Cinematographers' Guild, Local 600. This experience has given me the knowledge, confidence and ability to mix various lighting in a seamless fashion.
My experiences dealing with every possible "worst case" scenario has taught me to adapt and improvise in order to meet any challenge. Challenges are what motivates me to produce memorable and intriguing images.
Images are an integral part of human history, whether they are painted on the walls of a cave or burned onto the CCD of the latest digital camera. I've devoted my career to improving my craft and elevating photography to it's greatest potential.
